THE VERSION OF ME NOBODY SEES
There is a version of me that people don’t see.
The version that wakes up with thoughts already heavy in the mind.
The version that overthinks small things.
The version that smiles in public but feels different inside.
People see confidence. People see normal life. People see laughter.
But they don’t see the silent moments when everything feels overwhelming.
Sometimes I sit alone and think deeply about life. Not because I want to be sad, but because I have too many thoughts that I don’t know how to release.
I have learned to hide it well. To function normally. To act fine.
But that hidden version of me still exists.
And I believe everyone has one.
We all have parts of ourselves that the world does not see. Feelings we don’t express. Thoughts we don’t share. Battles we fight alone.
And maybe that is why we should be kinder to people — because we never truly know what they are carrying inside.
